Little Libraries in Laundromats

Welcome to Little Libraries in Laundromats

4/7/2020

Picture
Little Libraries in Laundromats started with a few laundromats in the Near Northside neighborhood. The little library is either a wooden crate of books or a bookcase, depending on the size of the laundromat and what they can accommodate.

Books can change a child’s life and they can create a bridge to a completely different future. The little libraries make books accessible to children and encourage reading.

I’m hoping that people will hear about this and that they'll be encouraged to start one or more in laundromats in their own neighborhood. Read more about us in the "About" section. Check out our Facebook page and my Amazon Wish List.
