Little Libraries in Laundromats started with a few laundromats in the Near Northside neighborhood of Houston in November, 2019. The little library is either a wooden crate of books or a bookcase, depending on the size of the laundromat and what they can accommodate.

Books can change a child’s life and they can create a bridge to a completely different future. The little libraries make books accessible to children and encourage reading.

We want to start a MOVEMENT!! We want to start a book revolution! We want for people to hear about this and to be moved to start one or more libraries in laundromats in their own neighborhood.

Read more about us in the "About" section. Learn how to set up a library in your own neighborhood under that tab.  Check out our Facebook page and my Amazon Wish List.
